JDEnergy Secures Key SGS Certifications for Energy Storage Systems
SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization, awards Xi’an JDEnergy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JDEnergy”) VDE-4105 grid connection certification and IEC 62933-5-2 certification for its eBlock-250 and eBlock-418A energy storage systems respectively. Achieving these certifications demonstrates that JDEnergy’s energy storage systems meet European standards for safety performance and quality control, laying a solid foundation for the company’s continued expansion into international markets.
The German VDE-4105 grid connection certification is renowned for its rigor, imposing strict requirements on electrical connections, grid protection, and isolation for systems connecting to the German low-voltage grid. The IEC 62933-5-2:2020 standard also specifies comprehensive testing requirements, covering electrical safety, mechanical safety, environmental testing, and insulation resistance. JDEnergy’s attainment of both the VDE-4105 and IEC 62933-5-2 certificates issued by SGS underscores its strong capabilities in grid safety and stability, as well as compliance with international technical standards in safety performance, energy efficiency management, and environmental adaptability.
Zhang Yi, General Manager of JDEnergy Market & Solutions Center, stated: “In recent years, new energy enterprises have faced numerous challenges in expanding globally. Success requires a sharp focus on improving product reliability, quality, and compliance with diverse regulatory requirements across markets. With its global service network and deep industry expertise, SGS has provided JDEnergy with practical solutions to ensure strict adherence to international standards, helping us gain greater recognition and competitiveness in the global marketplace.
