Partnering with Sanhua Auto Components, JDEnergy Supports Grid Connection and Commissioning of 3MW/6MWh Energy Storage Project

Recently, JDEnergy joined hands with Zhejiang Sanhua Automotive Components Co., Ltd. (Sanhua Auto Components) to facilitate the grid connection and commissioning of a 3MW/6MWh user-side energy storage project, opening a new chapter in the enterprise’s energy transition.

 

01 Powerful Partnership Boosts Green Transition

 
 
The 3MW/6MWh energy storage power station of Zhejiang Sanhua Automotive Components is located within the Sanhua Industrial Park in Qiantang District, Hangzhou. Adopting JDEnergy’s distributed modular smart energy storage system solution, the project deploys a total of 30 sets of eBlock-200 products, arranged into 4 arrays with 7 access points.
 
The successful grid connection stems from mutual trust and proven strength. By 2023, JDEnergy had completed more than 300 user-side energy storage projects, serving thousands of industries with successful cases spread nationwide. Committed to developing a smart low-carbon economy and building an eco-friendly environment, Zhejiang Sanhua Automotive Components highly recognized JDEnergy’s distributed smart energy storage system solution after on-site inspections, commenting that the system is safe, reliable, cost-effective, stable in operation, widely applicable, minimalist in appearance and aesthetically pleasing. Ultimately, JDEnergy stood out among 9 outstanding bidders and secured the contract. This powerful cooperation will greatly accelerate the enterprise’s green energy transition.

 

02 Meeting Expectations and Delivering Satisfactory Results

 
 
From project contract signing to grid-connected commissioning, JDEnergy’s delivery team completed the whole process within merely two weeks, once again demonstrating the JDEnergy Speed. The on-time, high-quality and full-quantity delivery won unanimous recognition from the owner Sanhua Auto Components. Upon completion, the project achieves an annual charge and discharge volume of approximately 4 million kWh, cutting power costs for the owner by more than RMB 3 million. It not only effectively helps the customer reduce costs and improve efficiency, but also fully satisfies the enterprise’s power regulation demands.
 
Furthermore, the commissioning of the project supports corporate green transition, lowers reliance on traditional fossil fuels and reduces emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases such as SO₂, CO₂ and NOₓ, contributing to the mitigation of climate change and environmental pollution. On the other hand, energy storage technology provides flexibility for power grids, enabling effective management of power supply and demand, alleviating grid load pressure, preventing overload and power outages, and optimizing grid operation.
