200MW/400MWh! JDEnergy Empowers Wuzhong Niushoushan Energy Storage Project to Grid Connection and Operation
Recently, the Banqiao Second Energy Storage Power Station in Wuzhong Niushoushan delivered by Singularity Energy has been successfully connected to the grid. With a construction scale of 200MW/400MWh, the project is comparable to Huayan 200MW/400MWh First Energy Storage Power Station, the world’s largest grid-side distributed modular energy storage power station, marking another important milestone in the company’s development history.
The project is located in Malianqu Township, Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It adopts Singularity Energy’s distributed modular smart energy storage system solution, consisting of 36 energy storage units of 5.022MW/10.044MWh and 4 units of 4.836MW/9.672MWh. A total of 1,078 sets of eBlock-372 products have been deployed. The system can fully adapt to the local complex climatic conditions of drought, sand and large temperature difference between day and night, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the power system.
From equipment installation to delivery and grid connection, the delivery team of Singularity Energy only took 45 days, once again perfectly demonstrating the "Singularity Speed". During the project delivery period, Ningxia was in the depth of winter with howling cold wind and heavy snow. Nevertheless, the harsh weather did not stop the delivery team. With enthusiastic work passion, they communicated actively on every detail; with professional work attitude, they solved every problem patiently, ensuring efficient project delivery and winning high praise from the client.
As the fourth project delivered by Singularity Energy in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the Wuzhong Niushoushan Banqiao 200MW/400MWh Second Energy Storage Power Station once again proves the outstanding strength of Singularity’s solutions and products through practical performance. According to the monthly report of Ningxia Power Grid, the charging and discharging capacity of Tongli Substation 100MW/200MWh New Electrochemical Energy Storage Power Station, also delivered by Singularity Energy, consistently ranks among the top in Ningxia, strongly verifying its advantage of being economical and efficient. Therefore, the Wuzhong Niushoushan Energy Storage Project will surely create higher value for clients and the region, setting another benchmark example.
After being connected to the grid and put into operation, the project will effectively enhance the peak shaving and frequency regulation capability of the local power system, boost the integrated development of source-grid-load-storage and multi-energy complementation of Ningxia Power Grid, increase the peak regulation reserve capacity of the power system, and promote the consumption of new energy. It is of great significance for accelerating the development of energy storage technology and industry and building a modern energy industrial system that is clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient.
