Liu Weizeng, Chairman of Singularity Energy, Invited to Attend the 20th Anniversary Event of the Promulgation of the Renewable Energy Law
On February 28, the thematic event marking the 20th anniversary of the promulgation of the Renewable Energy Law of the People’s Republic of China was successfully held in Beijing. The event was hosted by the China Energy Research Society, co-organized by the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, China Photovoltaic Industry Association, and China Industry Development Promotion Association, and jointly undertaken by the Renewable Energy Professional Committee of the China Energy Research Society and CNR New Energy.
Mao Rubai, former Chairman of the Environmental and Resources Protection Committee of the 10th National People’s Congress, and Qian Zhimin, Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended and delivered speeches. Pan Huimin, Deputy Director-General of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, and Liang Zhipeng, Deputy Director-General of the Legal and Institutional Reform Department of the National Energy Administration, gave keynote speeches respectively. Li Junfeng, Executive Director of the China Energy Research Society and Chairman of the Renewable Energy Professional Committee, and Shi Lishan, Vice President of the China Industry Development Promotion Association, delivered important reviews and analyses.
The grand event gathered more than 400 representatives from renewable energy industry authorities, research institutions, enterprises, and international organizations. They collectively reviewed the 20-year development journey since the promulgation of the Renewable Energy Law and looked into the future direction of renewable energy.
