Introduction

This project is among the first batch of 19 pilot demonstration projects for new energy storage approved by the Sichuan Provincial Energy Bureau in 2024. It is also the first grid-side energy storage key project of 100MW/200MWh in Pengzhou City, as well as one of the first five such projects in Chengdu. It serves as an important model for the region to advance the large-scale application of new energy storage and explore pathways for energy transition.
The project adopts JDEnergy’s distributed intelligent energy block system solution, with a total deployment of 20 energy storage units and 479 sets of eBlock-418 equipment. Each energy storage unit is matched with one 35kV transformer with a capacity of 5,500 kVA to realize local voltage boosting for the unit. A 110kV step-up substation is constructed simultaneously, equipped with a 100MVA main transformer. The station connects to the 220kV Yongdingqiao Substation via 110kV transmission lines, forming an efficient and stable power transmission network.
